This site is a tribute to Albert Harwood. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Albert sadly suffered from dry macular degeneration which really frustrated him. His gradual loss of sight prevented him doing the things he loved and even when he was diagnosed with cancer, he would speak more about the frustration of his dry macular than the cancer. He spent hours researching the disease, visiting opticians and specialists to see if he could slow down the degeneration. Your donation will go towards researching a cure for this terrible disease.
